Great News!

The doctors visit was difficult for Vicki, but she was so happy when she got home (to Holly's). The cast on her right ankle was removed and she was okayed to begin working on bearing light weight on that leg. The four pins are still in place. Two will be removed in three months and the others will remain. The pins were removed from her arm and she now only has a brace on that can be removed from time to time.

She won't be able to enter a rehab facility until she can bear weight on at least one leg. We'll see how that goes when physical therapy comes next week.

We'll keep you posted! We're so thankful for every improvement. Please continue your prayers. We appreciate you so much!

Great to hear the good news. i spoke with Holly yesterday and she seemed very positive with all that's going on. Remember we love each of you and keep you in our thoughts and prayers. We hope to visit with Vicki soon. Lots of Love. Angela Vaughn and family.

It's great to hear about Vicki's progress. We didn't know about the blog until tonight when Phil emailed it to us. We have had Vicki & the whole family on the prayer list at our church here in Charleston, SC. Everytime that we would talk to family & friends in TN, we would always ask about Vicki. Wish we were there where we could help in some way. God always has a plan & a purpose in everything but we don't always understand what the purpose is or why. The Bible says that God won't put anymore on us than we can bear, so he must think the Norris/Kiss family are very strong families because it seems like you have had more to bear in the past few years than others have in a lifetime. We both go back a long way with Vicki & have found her & her family to be good friends over the years. Even though our kids are grown and don't "run around with" each other much anymore we still think about all those years together. Even though we are down here in Charleston SC we can still pray for the family. Hang in there Vicki & Aaron & the rest of the family WE LOVE EACH ONE OF YOU!!!
